Team Building in and around Dubrovnik The Old Town Challenge The Old Town Challenge is a real all-rounder, combining imaginative tasks that are fun and educational, whilst taking place in the must-see areas of the Old Town. The group is split into small teams, with each one receiving an assignment list and a time limit. Some tasks are simply for fun, whereas others take the group into secret areas of the town, revealing more and more of Dubrovnik’s fascinating history as progress is made…

Treasure Hunt A classic treasure hunt adventure activity. Our map-based puzzles have the added dimension of flexibility and can be done in large or small groups, with a variety of locations such as the Old Town itself or one of the nearby islands. Find the key to the treasure chest before the other teams do!

Wine-Tasting Competition Taste Croatian wines and test your senses! A quality wine is more than just a drink. The group is taken to the peninsula of Pelješac – the most famous region in Dalmatia for the production of quality red wines. We then visit six family-owned wineries for wine-tasting. Finally, the tour finishes at Potomje. This is where our competition takes place. Each team tastes one wine and tries to guess which it is from the ones tasted earlier that day…

Rock Climbing, Hiking and Biking Race An alternative triathlon race. The Konavle Valley is only 45 minutes from Dubrovnik and is a haven for rock climbing, hiking and biking. We have combined all three to produce the ultimate team-building exercise in the form of a unique triathlon race. The group is broken down into colored teams, with the aim of climbing to the summit of a rock formation, collecting objects on the way. Once the summit is reached, there is a hike to a nearby village, where the bikes are waiting. The cycle route takes the teams through the natural beauty of the Konavle Valley, with the finish line conveniently located at a local restaurant.

Beach Games Island beach challenge. Croatia is famous for its exquisite coastline, so it makes sense to combine the beach with team-building. Our beach games take place on a nearby island and we can include as many or as few of them as you wish. Choose from beach volleyball, “picigin” , swimming relay, champagne diving, or sandcastle building.

Folk Singing and Dancing Competition All around Dubrovnik, there are villages where folk singing and dancing traditions are thriving and form an important part of national and regional identity. Each team will get their own “Klapa” singing instructor or folk dance teacher, and will be driven to separate locations where they will be introduced to, and practice their singing or dance performance. The final pieces will be performed as a competition at the dinner venue. Each performance will be short, and of course we will provide some traditional outfits for several people in each group to make the entire show more authentic and more fun. Destination | Dubrovnik

Team Building around Opatija – Istria and Kvarner Orienteering, Archery, Abseil In this team building program, participants are organised into competing teams, each having several tasks to solve – in this way, participants can improve their sense of community and practise team work. The programme envisages a series of tasks to be solved: orienteering with maps and GPS devices, crossing artificial barriers such as rope bridges, archery, abseil, etc. Each team has an instructor (referee) who oversees the solving of tasks. The first team to solve all tasks wins.

Free climbing Although exercises are adapted to the participants’ skills, so that everyone can try climbing a rock, free climbing is an activity requiring a certain amount of physical fitness and mental concentration. The participants are all given harnesses and ropes and trained by an instructor advising them during the climb.

Paragliding Paragliding is a special challenge. With the aid of expert flyers, the participants can enjoy a 10 minutes flight over Istria. The glider is towlaunched or tugged, but descends freely.

30

Destination | Opatija

Orienteering Orienteering is a part of team building. The participants must find their bearings in an outdoor environment with the aid of GPS devices and maps, as well as solve tasks with the instructor’s help. The activities take place at UÄ?ka Nature Park, so the participants will also enjoy the magnificent views from the highest mountain in Istria.

Biking Our cycling tours do not require special physical exertion, so everyone can take part.

Paintball Paintball is a modern and exciting war game. The participants will receive the necessary equipment: masks, guns and pellets. The goal is to solve all tasks, and instructors-referees will control the regularity of play.

Speleological Adventure The speleological adventure takes the participants in the underground world of the Istrian karst. The required equipment (helmets, harnesses, ropes) will be given to all participants who descend to one of the caves accompanied by an instructor. In case of a large number of participants, several caves will be visited at the same time, as the number of people who can enter one single cave is limited. Destination | Opatija
